Why is it that as soon as soon as our drawing skills get a bit developed we want to draw like a child again?
This hit me when I drew myself the other day and then saw what my little cousin Gina drew of me (wearing the same jumper).
I thought my drawing had a hint of freedom but no no no! I immediately became envious of her drawing. I wish I had that looseness again. I need to start taking less care. That sounds like an insult but it isnt it's a compliment.
